Hearing aid test, consultation, and follow-up were good and results of wearing the hearings aids for the last 2 months have been satisfactory. Instructions for usage, cleaning and ongoing service have been appreciated and easy to apply. There are 2 issues that I would like to comment on. The first - as someone on a fixed pension, I had to decide on a higher-priced product for my needs, and still feel it is worth it. BUT, these hearing aids, if you need both (as I do), prevents many people, especially seniors, from being able to afford them. The other issue (complaint really) is the program set up for 'virtual' conversations with the audiologist (Colin VanBergen), as I live quite a distance away from the office. Twice we have tried, and twice the link didn't work as hoped. It seems that ONLY this app has managed to 'automatically' change my Apply i.d. when the two partners try to link up via iPhone. My husband has had to re-set the Apple i.d. for me each time, and this only happens with the Oticon program. Not sure if the issue is compatibility or what, but the only alternative for now is talking on our phones to one another, instead of 'in person'. The professionalism and patience shown by Dr. VanBergen is above average and commendable. The office staff are welcoming and friendly. Would recommend to others.
