Not accommodating for groups or teams. We asked to book the breakfast room for the evening to keep kids and parents out of the halls. We are told it is fully booked for birthdays and yet the room sits empty and locked all weekend. We are told the whole team can swim on Friday, Saturday it drops to 10 and then Sunday it drops to 7(all times were pre-booked as requested) We provided the 4 supervisors each time as requested and not once did an employee say the boys were too rowdy or acting badly. Sunday they tell us the team cannot book and yet we know the tournament schedule. We are the latest game. The other team has to check out early. No coffee until 7. Why? I have a baby sleeping in the room. I’m not making coffee in there and waking her early. A few simple changes would make it a lot easier for us to keep children busy and out of the way. This is supposed to be a fun weekend for team bonding and visiting. Why are you making up unnecessary rules to make it frustrating?! We are happy to pay your fees for renting rooms or pay $10 extra a day for the coffee fund. Let us take the steps to be pro-active and prevent problems with the kids. If you don’t want a team here don’t offer it. The front desk employee November 21st 2021 after 8am has very poor training on taking a complaint. If a customer complains, they believe you are capable of fixing a problem. If they don’t. They just will never stay with you again. Why are you arguing with me dude?! Giving me attitude about making coffee in my room. Otherwise the hotel is very clean and beds are comfortable. The sad thing is we have stayed here for the past 12 years as a family, when visiting Kelowna. We won’t anymore. They need to retrain the 3 employees power tripping on enforcing rules. I cannot give names because no one has on name tags.
Great place, large room, so much space, the person at the front desk really helped me out since i booked online and needed a Credit card to finish booking.... Since I don't own a credit card myself for personal reasons, she ended up realising there is an alternative (if you have a friend/family member) willing to be the "credit card host" for you. Totally legal, easy to do and even possible if the person is abroad or not physically there. Can't recall her name but she'll know for sure. The hotel is just something else compared to all Kelowna has to offer.
Excellent!! Easy to find location, friendly check-in, rooms were a great size. Had a little trouble in our room with a few of the lights not working (we were offered that we could switch the room if we wanted to). There was a nice pool with a water slide and a fitness room. Beds extremely comfortable, nice big soft pillows! Hot breakfast in the morning was lovely, scrambled eggs and sausage and pancakes and potato patties...had a great stay!
At first everything was okay, we followed instructions for what was needed for a deposit (told us 200$ cash as debit machine wasn't working) my credit card was in the middle of being processed for payment which they were aware of (hence why the deposit was cash) We get to hotel, they told us it was 300 and not 200 and that we were even lucky to get a room (even though 200 is what was asked for over the phone in cash) . Paid over 400 for 2 nights in the jacuzzi suite, we informed them the night before that we were thinking of staying for a 3rd night. Was told to call front desk in the AM, lady said she would put a note on file saying wed like to pay for another night in that suite. Woke up early to pay for room just to be told there were "NO" rooms available at all. And that someone already booked which was false as we knocked on the door.. Then out of no where they magically have "ONE pet friendly ground level room and make us switch to this room at 9am when check out isn't even until 11am. I look at their website as I am a member here and it says there is 2 Jacuzzi rooms available for today and when we said we wanted to book online to go back to a Jacuzzi rooms they were very rude and discriminating because they gave us false information and they don't even want us in their hotel. I suggest you step your game up and be more considerate to front line workers. I would love to have a conversation owner, so please if the OWNER sees this review in would to get in contact. I work security 5-6 days a week and this was my vacation. Your staff was rude and wouldn't let us talk or explain. Night workers were amazing and nice. Manager was rude. And morning front desk lady was rude as well. Oh well I wont be coming back here unless the owner can contact me and be civil and figure this out. Very disappointed with false information. ????
We stayed at the Comfort Inn for a week in July 2021. It looked to be very new. It was super clean, staff were welcoming and the breakfast wasn’t too bad (still following Covid protocols). My son loved the pool. A lady at the front desk made some great recommendations for local wineries, and they were wonderful! We were very comfortable here and will definitely book again for our next visit!
