Booked Kanata Inn for my son's hockey team. The rooms were super easy to book for the team, and the staff made it easy for us to have a great team trip. We were able to book meeting and conference rooms for team events, and they were thoughtful and accommodating getting our rooms close together. They took extra efforts to make sure we were all set up with our events, like dropping off ice and extra utensils for the food we ordered, and our families were so pleased with their stay. The kids were thrilled with the pool and slides, and the staff were friendly to them as well.
The Kanata hotel has been great for my family, they were extremely accommodating. Cindy and her family were a pleasure to deal with, kind, friendly, excellent service. The rooms were clean, and the housekeeping staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel also has an indoor gym and laundry room which made it convenient for families. The pool is great, not huge but has a couple different water slides that we enjoyed on the rainy days of the trip. Overall I give this hotel a 5 star rating. Close to all amenities, free continental breakfast, extremely accommodating, and well priced compared to other hotels in the area. Keep it up Kanata!
Nice rooms, very comfortable beds! Really wish I knew what kind of mattress that was. Pool and slides were fun, hot tub water was an off-putting yellow though, not sure why. Breakfast was standard, not great, they didn't put out the pancake machine the second day which was disappointing... More fruit options would be nice. Staff seemed friendly. I was told there were no cots because they were helping with the wild fire relief effort, I thought it was nice they were helping :) Good location, restaurants, shopping, easy access to the highway.
Wonderful hotel with friendly staff. We have stayed here numerous times and will continue to do so in the future. The staff are such lovely people, the pool is fun, parking is free, rooms are huge, beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is great. I have always felt welcome and really enjoy my stay here. Thank you to the staff for your hospitality!
I stayed here with my husband and toddler. Staff were friendly and helpful. They were also very polite. The room was clean and one of the nicer ones we’ve been in. Breakfast was pretty good as well. There was a good variety of things to choose from. The only reason we booked this hotel was for the water slide but I’m not going to lie the steps leading up to both slides were quite dirty and the slides themselves had brown stains on them that I was able to scratch off with my finger nails. A bucket of hot water and some dish soap would easily get rid of the dirt on the steps to the water slide. This was the only disappointing thing about this hotel.
