An unexpectedly pleasant stay. Clean environment and room. Well kept property. Surprisingly comfortable bed, bedding and pillows. We (4 adults in 2 large beds) only stayed for 1 night but we were well rested and felt safe. Bathroom's a little small but it did the trick. - 1 for a broken ice machine
This is a follow up review. I must speak about the high quality, effective window coverings. They deserve special recognition. They are an excellent upgrade.
Garbage Inn - Do not recommend. I get that there is a price point to match for this Inn but the most basic maintenance for the furniture and basic amenities are not done which makes for a safety risk. There are exposed nail heads all around the base of the bed frame where you can hit your foot and open up your skin. The worst of all, the staff does not seem to care when I mentioned it and did not seem concerned at all, telling me "accidents happen" which is what scares me more. She could not understand that yes, accidents happen but exposed nail is a safety hazard. Imagine if it were an elderly person or a young child who could have seriously gotten hurt by exposed the exposed nail heads. I ruined my holiday because the wound gotten in the way of my walking so I could not do all the hikes I was planning on doing. There should not be more people ruining their holiday here. Other things? The bathroom sink was partially blocked so it was retaining water... The bedroom side table light switch was broken so it could only be controlled by plugging and unplugging the cord. And for some reason the housekeeping staff left an old butter in the fridge from the last guest. Trust me, just go to a different Inn. Tons of options in Kelowna
Hotel is very neat and tidy, rooms had a partition that worked well for us. Was clean and had some updates, I really liked the blinds, very chic! Beds were comfy and lots of different pillows provided. I think this hotel should be 3 stars at least. It was very relaxing and surprisingly quiet for the busy location. Price was great, would definitely stay again. Thank you for your hospitality!!
