What a tough review.... we went into our studio to try on shoes and tried on three. We ordered the largest from the 3 shoes, but were sent the smallest ones... they wrote down the wrong size. We took them back to the store and were told that they would "take them on consignment." So, we lose 50% of what they sell for.... so.... pretty much nothing. Understandably, they want the box for the shoes back.. but we were never given the box. But even with the box they told us, they would not take them back. As soon as they are "put on" they are used..... so be VERY careful when dealing with them. DO NOT order from your dance studio.. only get them if you can take home the ones you are trying on.
I’m a new “Dance Mom”, I just signed my 4 year old daughter up for dance this week and had 2 days to find everything. I was blown away by this adorable dance shop! Clean store, great selection, and the woman that helped us was absolutely incredible! I will never hesitate to drive from Vernon to get all dance needs from The Movement Boutique for my tiny ballerina.
Finally!! A place to get great priced, high quality dance/gymnastics wear locally!! Since Ivivva left town my daughter has been searching for somewhere in town to buy her clothes. The Movement has a fantastic selection for all ages from teeny tiny first year of dance up to adults. I love that we can get my daughters essential dance items like tights/bodysuits/hair and makeup supplies as well as cool fun extras all in one place without breaking the bank. And the vibe though, I could actually hangout there all day. Michelle and Rochelle are so friendly and helpful, thank you for creating a comfortable space for both my daughter and I to shop!
Love this place! The staff are so bubbly, friendly inviting and well educated on all of their products. They offer great recommendations and information in a really friendly way! The clothing and accessories they carry are not only ideal for dancers but for everyone. They have options for any person no matter, size, shape, age or colour and they are reasonably priced! My new go to for leggings (and scrunchies) well worth a visit.
Went to the Movement Boutique today for the first time. They have a great selection of new and used dance/athletic wear as well as new and used dance shoes for a good price. The store was fun, bright and inviting. Michelle was a wonderful help at finding my daughter dance shoes for the up coming dance season.
