My wife and I can’t thank Dr. Devin Almond and the staff at Nuvue Optometry enough! We had the most incredible and efficient experience ever. On a recent trip to the interior, my wife began seeing floaters in her vision. When we reached Kelowna we immediately called Nuvue Optometry. Given the very serious vision consequences that floaters can indicate such as detaching retinas, they fitted her in immediately. Luckily, they were able to give me an eye exam as well. After Kelsey did a great job of explaining all the advanced diagnostic technology she was using during our pretesting, Dr. Almond was able to see, and show us in the scans, that not only did my wife have a tear in her retina, but even with no signs or symptoms and to my great surprise, I did as well! Dr. Almond then referred us to an Ophthalmologist immediately, and by 3:00 pm that day we were both in having laser treatment to fix the tears! As my case shows, you can have very serious, vision threatening problems developing in your eyes, with no signs or symptoms which can lead to blindness. Blindness is forever! So please, have your vision checked on a regular basis. Their eye exams are a great price. I have never had contacts and 5hey helped me with a sample starter pair, when I post one within the first week they were quick to get me a replacement pair. Wow! I have never had such an amazing customer experience. Every interaction with the staff (including Dr. Devin Almond) was SO professional and genuinely caring. I have to single out Denise (Office Manager) though for her unparalleled commitment to ensuring I was taken care of. I had some trouble adjusting to my new prescription and their team was so patient. I was brought in to retest my eyes and Denise refused to quit until my vision was absolutely dialed in. Over the course of several months we tried slight variations on the prescriptions and differing glass materials before it clicked. Magic! My vision has never been better. Denise never made me feel "high-maintenance" (which I was worried about). In fact, she asked me to keep her updated and insisted that she truly wanted to make sure everything was as good as it could be. I've never experienced such a high level of customer service. Denise's outstanding care and attention has earned this customer for life at Nuvue Optometry. I could not be more pleased.
My husband and I stopped at Nuvue for some new sunglasses and we were absolutely impressed with the quality of service! We had not one, not two, but three sales associates assisting with our try-ons and decision making. I truly appreciated how clean everything was, and that every pair of glasses was sterilized before and after I tried them on. In the end, we were so thankful to leave with three new pairs of sunglasses and will definitely be going back! It was such a fun stop :)
